Dear Parents/Guardians: After reflecting upon our decision to banned open containers we will be making a change to this rule. We will begin permitting students to have bottled water in their lockers for consumption during the school day. The water must be in a clear plastic bottle such as Crystal Geyser Spring Water or AquaFina which are both sold here at school. If students bring bottled water in from home it must meet the above criteria and be unopened. Students will not be permitted to drink any other beverage at their locker besides water. Students will also not be permitted to travel the halls with open containers. Any drink purchased in the cafeteria other than water must be consumed in the cafeteria during breakfast or your child’s designated lunch period. Students will not be permitted to bring in power drinks or caffeinated products into school for consumption. Due to the heightened awareness of the H1N1 virus we are looking to decrease the spread of illness during the school year.
