Mr. J. Englebert, Principal
Mrs. L. Lowe, Assistant Principal
Dear Le Roy Community,
It is with great pride that I write this letter to you as your new Jr./Sr. High School Principal. I am very appreciative of the opportunity to join a school district that is steeped in such rich tradition and success. I look forward to getting to know the students, faculty, staff, community members and parents within our district. I look forward to working with all of the school community to move the district ahead and build upon the successes of the Jr./Sr. High School.
Le Roy’s success in academics, music, art and athletics is what led me to this district. This coupled with a beautiful rural setting and the benefits of a close-knit community. My experiences growing up in Western New York and working in this area as a teacher, coach and administrator has prepared me for this opportunity.
As a graduate of Saint John Fisher College with a degree in history I pursued my teaching certificate through my masters program at Roberts Wesleyan College to teach Secondary Social Studies. I had the opportunity to work at Perry Central School after completing my degree at Saint John Fisher College as a substitute teacher and football coach. Following my time at Perry I had the opportunity to teach Social Studies at Warsaw Central School and coach football, wrestling and baseball. After pursing my administrative certification, I received an opportunity to work at Pembroke Central Schools where I have spent the past five years. During my time at Pembroke I held the positions of Athletic Director/Assistant Principal and Vice Principal.
I have been married for nine years and have two sons. I truly enjoy living and working in this area. I look forward for the chance to get to know everyone and in working together to continue to provide the best possible educational programming for our students.
Thank You,
Joseph Englebert
Principal
