Le Roy Central School District
2-6 Trigon Park
Le Roy, NY  14482

585-768-8133

Established in 1890, the Le Roy Central School District has a proud history of providing exceptional academic instruction to the children of Genesee and Livingston Counties.

The grade level organization is K-6 and 7-12, comprising two campuses, and is served by a highly qualified and dedicated instructional and non-instructional staff consisting of approximately 250 employees.

The Wolcott Street School houses grades Kindergarten through Sixth and boasts a full size gymnasium and full size auditorium, along with several computer labs.  In the fall of 2003, Grades 7-12 moved into the beautiful new 130,000 square foot Le Roy Junior/Senior High School.  This building contains state of the art science and computer labs, a library media center, an 836 seat auditorium and gymnasium facilities.  Hartwood Park is the home to the District’s sports complex, including football, baseball and soccer fields, along with an all-weather six lane track.

The District has a history of high academic achievement and earned scholarships.  More than 90% of Le Roy graduates traditionally pursue post-secondary education.  In 2006, Buffalo’s Business First publication ranked Le Roy Central School District eighteenth among 97 Western New York school districts and first among Genesee County districts.  The high school offers strong college preparatory and accelerated academic programs as well as five Advanced Placement (AP) courses.  Strong offerings in a variety of occupational areas augmented by our area’s BOCES round out the picture.

Le Roy Central Schools were named by the American Music Conference as one of the “2006 Best 100 Communities for Music Education”.   With tremendous student involvement rates, the band and vocal music students set a record for participation in All County and All State events.

Le Roy Junior/Senior High School has a strong offering of athletic programs, including modified, junior varsity and varsity teams competing in football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, winter/spring/cross country track, golf, tennis and cheerleading.

The Board of Education recognizes the advantage of providing instruction to all students in our home school.  The District makes every effort to serve the special population in the least restrictive environment.

Le Roy has a tradition of parent involvement including support and assistance from the parent-teacher service organization, the music and sports booster clubs.
