The Online Field Trip page An excellent resource for online field trips. Your students can take a field trip to rainforests, salt marshes, and volcanoes, to name a few places. Complete with teacher resources. The Library of Congress Homepage for The Library of Congress, Washington D.C. Contains links to photo archives, congressional papers, catalogs and collections. The WebQuest Page Webquests are inquiry based units, involving a variety of themes, that promote higher order thinking among students. Using the Internet as a resource, students work in collaborative groups to gather information and complete a series of tasks. Culmination of the quest typically involves the creation of a product or involvement with a wider audience. The Learning Planet Learners can dive into Alphabet Action. Students in grades 1-3 can use Spacey Math and students in grades 4-6 can get wrapped up in Fraction Frenzy. Social Studies America's Library Created by the Library of Congress, this site invites students to "meet amazing Americans" such as Buffalo Bill Cody, Harriet Tubman, and Thomas Jefferson. Site surfers can also search by time periods. Time For Kids Students can march with M. L. King, gather electoral votes, identify world newsmakers as children, and work as investigative reporters.
