Your 2nd KBAR project is due Friday, May 27th! Upload a copy of the choices under the KBAR link! What a fast year it's been! We are already into the 4th marking period! Summer will be here before we know it! Welcome to 7th grade English! This year, English will be focused around the theme of "Finding Oneself: A Journey Through Time and People in Literature". This theme will especially explore many different characters who, in one way or another, go through a life changing event or in a sense grow up. Students will explore these changes in characters as well as changes in themselves as they begin their own journeys through middle and high school! We will also be preparing for the 7th grade English Language Arts State Exam which will be given in May of 2011. We will be practicing many different skills including reading comprehension, listening, note taking, editing, and writing short responses. A Reminder: Students may stay after Monday through Thursday for extra help (unless I have a meeting which I will announce that day). I am also available from around 7:15-7:45 most mornings for any student who wishes to get help/work on an assignment in the morning :)
