Special Announcements... updated 2/3/2012
1.) ATTENTION JR. HIGH CONCERT & JAZZ BAND! I have just created a new page for our website entitled "Jr. High Concert & Jazz Band." I have already put up professional recordings of some of our current selections for you to listen to and use when practicing. Check out this page frequently for more tunes, links and helpful information. Also, I have updated the "Kewl Pix" page with new pictures from the Jr. High Trumpets Greens performance, December concerts & Fall 2011 marching band season. Check them out!
2.) ATTENTION MARCHING KNIGHTS!!! The audio recordings of the judge's comments from our championship show are up! A video of the championship show will soon be posted to the "Le Roy Marching Knights" facebook page. Also, if you are interested in purchasing a DVD of the championship show you can visit, www.mrvideoonline.com AND...individual/group pictures will be available for purchase at www.jolesch.com
3.) ATTENTION WSS Band Students & Parents: All 5th and 6th grade band students have been presented with a copy of an online practice method called SMART MUSIC, made possible through the Le Roy Central School District Music & Technology departments. If you are having trouble installing the software, please visit www.smartmusic.com or call 1-866-240-4041.
4.) The Next Swingin' Knights Jr. High Jazz Ensemble rehearsal will be Monday, February 6th, 2012!!! Also, our Select Ensembles Concert will be held the following Monday, February 13th, 2012 @ 7:30pm at the Jr./Sr. High School. See Everyone There!
5.) The Le Roy Swingin' Knights Jr. High Jazz Ensemble has been asked back to perform at the Rochester Lilac Festival on Friday, May 11th, 2012 from 12pm to 1pm! Don't miss this spectacular performance venue/experience as we will rock out the MAIN STAGE at the Highland bowl!
